Professor Senbe Norimaki, aka Doctor Slump, is a bumbling inventor living with his wife and his out-of-control robot daughter, Arale. The trio frequently get involved in surreal adventures with the other inhabitants of their strange land, which include sentient trees and mountains, a not-so-super superman, and alien invaders that just want to go home.
